Positive Outlook of Filipinos for the Aquino Administration


June 30, 2010 was declared as a non-working holiday for Filipinos. It is the inauguration day of the new president of the Philippines, Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III. It is a historical ceremony. It creates a spark of hope in the heart of every Filipino. It marks another start for every Filipino to get involved in creating some transformative steps towards a better tomorrow for the Philippines.

During the inauguration, messages in speech and songs are in the same tune with regards to some visions. They speak about plans for changes leading to progress. They speak about the new Philippines. They speak about the power of the people to get involved and make a change.

Filipinos are hopeful and optimistic people. They believe that something good will happen to them under the new leadership. Their eyes are in constant look for something that will alleviate their state of life. They are looking forward to the changes that president Aquino stated in his speech.

The participation of people is needed in achieving goals on national progress. The people are in their good shape of mindset for the moment. They are one in hoping that all the outlined changes promised in the speech of the new president are soon to have a touch in their lives. They are hoping that the trust they put to Noynoy during the election will not be thrown in vain. They are hoping that the new leader will not forget that his strength are indeed the people and that he will not engage to any form of corruption.

Filipino people can do more than just hope and hope and hope. They can make things happen as envisioned by their mind.
