You are a career person. You are always on the go, always loaded with schedules and meetings. Your calendar is vandalized with work deadlines, urgent notes and deliverables. Worse, you hardly find time going to the CR to pee. And each pile of paperworks in your table amounts to even greater volume of stress in your life.

How's that sound? Your social life sucks!

But don't try subscribe to that thought. You can always turn yourself away from nurturing wrinkles because of work problems loads. Just don't get too hard on yourself. Take time to smell the flowes. Find time to relax. Find the joy for each moment. Life is not about making haste. You can always have your time to pause, to take a break, to observe silence, to listen to your breath, feel the air, smell the roses, touch the mist. Learn to appreciate small things. Know that God's creation is good. As the rhyme says, all things are bright and wonderful. We are wonderful creations. We can appreciate those wonders if we learn how to slow down and observe the order and beauty of things, if we allow ourselves to be aware that everything in this world has a value.

stop and smell the flowers Time becomes more precious as we use it in learning how to see the value in each thing. Take time to see the value in you. You are the precious thing that awaits your appreciation and maybe you do not know this because you are too busy. We are the flowers that need to be smelled by us.
